BINDENWOOD

The Cottage is a few hundred feet behind our historic house and part of our wooded 9 acres on Lancaster Hill Road in Tilton, NH, just off of Route 3. More pictures await you of both the inside and outside of the cottage (see sidebar to left).

The cottage has a main room with a living area, small dining area and pocket kitchen. For sleeping arrangements, the cottage has 2 small bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with a twin, plus the sofa in the living room is a pull out double bed. It can accomodate up to 5 people in somewhat tight quarters. However, for 5 people it would be best if they're family or very close friends. A ¾ bath in a corner of the house completes the ambiance of this quaint cottage.

There is no telephone or internet access at the cottage. However, there is basic cable television and most cellular services work at the cottage.

Outside the cottage has a picnic area with a picnic table, adorondack chairs, hammock and an old stone grill. There's lots to explore in the acreage that surrounds the cottage but even more to explore around in the Lakes Region. Our cottage can make a perfect weekend getaway, less than 3 miles from the NH sales tax free Tanger outlet shops, the Lakes (Winnipesaukee and Winnisquam) and less than 4 miles from I-93 exit 20. It's a great base from which to enjoy our beautiful Lakes Region of New Hampshire.

While we are family friendly, there's still a maximum occupancy of 5 in the Cottage. We accept bookings from May to November.
